National targets contributing to all elements of Goal B focus on:

• Ensuring that biodiversity is sustainably used and managed to maintain and enhance nature's contributions to people, while supporting sustainable livelihoods and resilient production systems (VN9) and minimizing impacts on non-target species and ecosystems (VN5)
• Assessing, maintaining, and enhancing the values of biodiversity and ecosystem services through sustainable use and the application of nature-based solutions (VN11); 
• Supporting the achievement of sustainable development by promoting sustainable production and consumption patterns and advancing the transition towards a circular, green, and low-carbon economy (VN16) and strengthening biodiversity-friendly and environmentally sustainable production models in the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sectors (VN10).
