There are several agencies which would be responsible for this, however the Department of Agriculture (DA) and Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) are the main government agencies which would be implementing this. Under the DA’s purview are the Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI), the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI), the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) and the Bureau of Soils and Water Management (BSWM).
On the side of the DENR is the Forest Management Bureau (FMB). The line item bureaus under each agency have specific mandates to ensure the sustainable management, maintenance and improvement of agriculture, fisheries and forestry production over time.
Develop common strategies applying spatial planning approaches and from there pursue separate implementation activities
Separately, they contribute to the attainment of this target.
