Minimize the Impacts of Climate Change on Biodiversity and Build Resilience

Description

Minimize the impact of climate change and ocean acidification on biodiversity in Sudan, including the multiple anthropogenic pressures on coral reefs, and other vulnerable ecosystems, and increase its resilience through mitigation, adaptation, and disaster risk reduction actions, so as to maintain their integrity and functioning, and enhance the contribution of biodiversity to carbon stocks, through conservation and restoration.

Reduce climate change risks and hazards on all type of biodiversity ecosystems,
Promote use of climate-resilient species,
Develop climate-smart land management practices,
